Claudio Fausti - film maker

Claudio Fausti is a Rome-based director, author of short, medium and full length films. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. His work includes a collaboration with La Sapienza University in Rome, specifically with the History and Critic of Cinema Department.  He has also worked as a researcher for the CNR.

Fausti is the creator of Eoscript srl, a consulting and editing company in the movie industry, that works exclusively with Raicinema.

His medium-length documentary Diario all”Assenzio was selected in 2002 for the New Territories (Nuovi Territory) category at the 59th Venice Film Festival. 

His work also includes 'Movimenti' a full-length movie released in 2004 and produced by Pablo film, and the direction of a documentary called Meridiano Perduto. This project was entirely developed in Sicily, thanks to Societa’ Majaze’s production and to the Regional Commission for Sicilian Tourism, Sports and Performing Arts, Servizio Sicilia Film-Commission. His are also the Bolero videos for the MotoMimetico show and the sound/dramaturgy for Romance frames.
